In her 24 years in education, Lisa Robinson has taught Spanish Levels 1-4 as well as IB Spanish HL, AP Spanish Language and AP Spanish Literature. She has served as a Reader for the College Board for AP Spanish Language and spent 6 summers teaching Latin American Studies at the Concordia Language Villages in Bemidji Minnesota. Lisa has extensive experience in tutoring students at all levels of Spanish and specializes in analyzing student performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Dr. Janet White has a long career in teaching secondary and college mathematics. With BA, MEd, and PhD degrees in Mathematics Education, she looks for ways to engage her students in mathematics and leads new mathematics teachers on their own journeys. Having taught a wide variety of mathematics from algebra to calculus, linear algebra, and statistics, Janet has also been an AP Reader for 13 years scoring exams for AP Calculus and AP Statistics.
Sherry Alvarado is currently a 9th Grade Biology teacher in the Sugar Land, TX area. She graduated from Houston Baptist University with a B.S. in Composite Science 8-12. While at HBU she studied subjects ranging from astronomy, environmental science, earth science, biology, and chemistry. Sherry not only teaches but has worked as a mentor for kids and teens since the age of 16.
Angela Burgess began teaching French in 2000 and has taught every level from beginners to Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate. Her students have received college credit as a result of her instruction. She teaches the basics of vocabulary and grammar, as well as the intricacies and depth of French history and literature, oral and written communication, and comprehension and analysis of oral and written authentic resources.
